Click to expand.Must be something to this.I just bought my Grandson's MIK LP Custom, and this one has the 'Feel'.it is in a NICE Cherry 'Burst (which I in no way am a fan of) and has all the 'Bling' of a 'Real Deal' Les Paul Custom.I mean, even the Epiphone banner looks good. Here's the problem. He let a 'mechanic' at it (you know the kind, a wanna' be 'Tech'. That needs to have his fingers smashed before he screws up the world). This guy made a mess of the harness of this guitar, and I'm going to fix it to resale.
My grandson's heart is in acoustic and semi hollow's, and he really don't want it back, and needed some $$$ for College.ANYHOW, after feeling the 'Mess' I received, 6 strings that were shot, electronics that were falling out, etc., I've been around the block enough to know this just might be a 'Good One' when done. So, I'm thinking I'll get this guitar together, see what comes from it.If all comes out good, I might just keep it and wait and see if he changes his tune when it's done.I mean this LP has a nice 'full shouldered' neck, and very resonate in the condition it's in. Click to expand. They do a really nice job, except the black paint or sharpie used to color the sides of the F holes. The rest of the guitar seems top notch. Maybe the quality of the wood isn't as good as the Gibson counterpart, the workmanship might be better.I know, it's dump raw wood into the CNC machine, out comes a guitar.

There can't be much human labor involved. I'm still very impressed. Plus, I got one in natural, which Gibson doesn't make.
If they did, it would be a $1000 upcharge.Asian guitars have come a long way since the 1960s. As a kid I was told they were all junk. Then I bought a Norlin era Gibson.
For sale is a Vintage Kay K520 Acoustic Guitar, Made In Korea, with a Hummingbird pickguard and rare oval block inlays. Has very impressive tone, sounds like a much more expensive guitar.
String action is fine, the truss rod works and the bridge is adjustable and also works. Pretty clean, has a small ding I am pointing to in the last photo, not much else except some light scratches here and there. SEt up with new strings and ready to play.
